Getting here
The nearest underground (tube) stations are Euston (Victoria, Northern lines), Euston Square (on Metropolian, Circle lines), Goodge Street (Northern), Warren Street (Victoria, Northern), and Russel Square (Picadilly).
The closest mainline rail station is Euston, with Kings Cross a little further away but still within walking distance.
General Travel
For general London route planning there is a journey planner at Transport for London. Also you can find TFL Journey Planner useful to get around London. Note that the tube stops around midnight, after which you need to get night buses.
Arriving by Air
From Heathrow Airport the quickest way into London is to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington (15 minute journey, trains every 15 minutes), then change to the tube — you want Eastbound Circle (yellow on tube map) or Hammersmith and City lines (pink on map) to Euston Square. You can also take the Picadilly Line (blue) tube from Heathrow to Russell Square (or change to Northern (black) line at Leicester Square and go to Warren St. or Euston), but it will take longer.
From Gatwick Airport take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station, change to the Victoria Line (light blue) tube and go to Warren Street or Euston.
From Luton Airport trains go from Luton Airport Parkway to Kings Cross Thameslink, then a short walk to Kings Cross station, then Northern Line (black) to Euston or Circle (yellow), Hammersmith and City (pink) or Metropolitan (purple) trains Westbound to Euston Square. Alternatively, if the train stops at Farringdon, then you can go there and switch to any of the same lines to Euston Square.
From Stanstead Airport take train to London Liverpool Street Station, then Circle (yellow), Hammersmith and City (pink) or Metropolitan (purple) trains Westbound to Euston Square.
Arriving by Train
Eurostar arrives at St Pancras International/Kings Cross station. Take the westbound Metropolitan/Circle Line to Euston Square, or you can walk it in about 15mins. Check National Rail for information on national trains.
